Aylus Networks Partners with iCELL Network to Bring MediaShare Solutions to Mobile Subscribers in Singapore and South East Asia

iCELL to offer Real-Time Multimedia Sharing Services to Subscribers and Operators

WESTFORD, Mass. And SINGAPORE. June 20, 2007 -- Aylus Networks, Inc. -- the provider of real-time multimedia sharing solutions for mobile networks -- and iCELL, Singapore's leading IT solution provider, are partnering to bring Aylus MediaShare solutions to subscribers and operators in Singapore and other South East Asian countries.

Aylus is pioneering a new class of voice and multimedia share services (also known as combinational services) that allow mobile operators to significantly enhance standard voice calls. Calls can be enhanced by enabling subscribers to share live video, video clips, images, and even the screen display in real-time while they continue their conversation. All this can be done with one simple click on their mobile phones.

Under the terms of the agreement, the parties intend to collaborate in two major areas:

  • Introduction of Aylus MediaShare solutions in Singapore in connection with iCELL's participation in the delivery of Wireless@SG, Singapore.s nationwide public Wi-Fi initiative. iCELL will work to introduce MediaShare to the millions of subscribers expected to use the Wireless@SG offering.
  • Development of a managed services offering to enable additional operators throughout South East Asia to leverage the combination of iCELL's technical expertise and Aylus. solutions. With 3G/UMTS networks being deployed through the region, iCELL will be able to offer the operators the service enhancement, customer loyalty and ARPU benefits of MediaShare as part of a hosted offering.

"Singapore is a world leader in the introduction of advanced telecommunications services. As part of Wireless@SG, being initiated by Singapore.s Infocomm Development Authority (IDA) and built by iCELL Network, we seek to lead in the delivery and enablement of innovative wireless services," said Ken Chua, Chief Executive Officer of iCELL. "Aylus MediaShare applications are perfect examples of the kind of compelling mobile experience that we expect to deliver in our region. We look forward to helping subscribers and operators throughout South East Asia deliver on the promise of 'rich voice' communications".

"We are very pleased to be working with iCELL to deliver MediaShare solutions in South East Asia. iCELL has established strong relationships among subscribers, wireless operators, and governmental authorities", said Shamim Naqvi, Chief Executive Officer of Aylus. "The advanced wireless networks of the region, including the Wi-Fi networks being delivered by iCELL, make the region well-suited for the introduction of advanced mobile solutions like those offered by Aylus".

Aylus and iCELL will be demonstrating MediaShare solutions at CommunicAsia on June 17-19 in Singapore. Visit iCELL at Hall 2, booth 2M1-01 and visit Aylus at Hall 4, booth 4F3-10 in the Americas Pavilion to see live demonstrations of MediaShare applications.
